We hope you are all having a great start in Spring Quarter! Just in case you are wondering, MASA is having our first GBM of the quarter this Wednesday, April 7th 2010 at Center Hall 109 7:30 PM.
We will be having:
Fun Icebreaker!
Cultural Presentation: Asian American Voice!
And a exciting Event Presentation!
We will also be heading to Studio Diner for our after-social.

Welcome back, everyone!
I hope you're all ready for an exciting spring quarter, because I AM. ;D We have a ton of really great events to look forward to, including our GBMs, annual grad banquet, the election of next year's MASA president, and the introduction of a new staff. And that's only from us - and I haven't even mentioned the exciting events you'll get to come out to in the next ten weeks.
And now, a few announcements:
Spring Quarter's First GBM!
Our FIRST GBM is next Wednesday. Be on the lookout for more details as the date nears!
Are you interested in becoming a MASA STAFF MEMBER? If you are, please consider talking to any current staff member, including myself, about any and all of the staff positions that are available on staff!
If you are interested in attending a staff meeting to see what it's like, PLEASE EMAIL ME (and only me!) at < law.yvonne.a@gmail.com > to find out the time and place.
I will be putting together an application that will be available on our website starting next Wednesday. In the meantime, if you would like to know more about the positions that are currently available, please read up on some of our staff profiles or call up me or a staff member that you're close to :)

To everyone who attended, marketed for, was staff of, or performed in FUSION: Thank you for all of your hard work. FUSION was phenomenal this year in more ways than one, and we have everyone on kunFusion and on FUSION staff to thank for that. I hope you guys had an amazing time, and will consider returning to FUSION staff, whether you are still active in kF or MASA, for FUSION XII 2011!

KF's first performance of the spring quarter is going to be at JSA and NSU's Matsuri Festival 2010! BE THERE: 5:20PM at Library Walk. Come out and support KunFusion!

Lastly... I would like everyone to swing by library walk sometime between the hours of 5PM and 10PM on Thursday.
Why? MATSURI FESTIVAL 2010!
This is the second year that UCSD's own Japanese Student Association and Nikkei Student Union are presenting this authentic Japanese Festival in the San Diego county. It is open to the general public, and is guaranteed to entertain people of all ages.
There will be Japanese festival foods, games, crafts, and performances that will let you experience a traditional Japanese festival right here in San Diego!
So why should you go? Well, first of all, you can go to support kunFusion - they're performing at 5:20PM. Second of all, you can support JSA and NSU. If that's not enough, then you can play games, fold origami, and eat DELICIOUS JAPANESE FOOD.
