Awareness Night
This quarter, we will be hosting an awareness event where our focus will be on Asian American hate crimes. For this event, we are going to let everyone know that there have been many incidents of violence being directed specifically towards Asian American people, as well as what is being done to minimize this. We hope to go over several known stories of Asian American hate crimes and even those that have not been made well known to date.
It is extremely important to get this information out and educate everyone about what is happening in America because first and foremost, this is all about US. In the past few decades, it has been proven that Asian Americans have been the fastest growing target of hate crimes. With this being said, this awareness night will also be a charity event. So come out and support!!!
