Study Night!
Have you been hitting the books lately? Tired and sick of studying alone? Well then, join us for Study Night this Wednesday! Finals week is coming up, and we, MASA, have decided that it would be for everyone's best interest to study. This time, we're actually going to study, so please, do not bring laptops unless you need it for studying (No Dota guys...)! If you are going to bring your laptop, remember to bring a power surge since there probably won't be enough outlets for everyone.
Bring light snacks and refreshments to power your studying!

Ramen Run!
Exhausted from MASA's Study Night? Well then, you deserve a well-earned study break with our Ramen Run this Friday! We'll help you wind down with a hot bowl of ramen, MASA-style! This time, to the convenience of many, we're going to hold our quarterly Ramen Run event on-campus, in the Sixth College Dogghouse *no need for rides!*
For $5, you can get a big, delicious bowl of ramen with your own customizable set of toppings. The soup base is Tajima's original recipe, and the noodles will come from Teri Cafe (and are actually shipped straight from Japan). There will be miso soup available for vegetarians!

an icy little change for sidekick event
This is for the littles and BIGS out there. I'm sure you're all aware of MASA's upcoming Sidekick Event on Monday, at UTC, right? Anyways, a little change has ensued, and now we will be meeting at 5:00 pm, not 6:00 pm! Why the change, you may ask? Because... your lovely MASA membership chairs, Monica and Tu, have scheduled for us to ice-skate! Whee!

MASA's Last GBM of the Quarter
Come out to the last MASA GBM of the quarter! We're going to have icebreakers with MASA staff, a cultural presentation by our ever-entertaining cultural reps - Vinh and the never-to-be-forgotten-but-is-eating-his-heart-out-in-Hong-Kong Lawrence - and events, events, and more events. At the end, there's also going to be a short film... but you don't know what it is! So be sure to stay till the end to find out!

There will be gobble-licious games, cute cards for the Convalescent Home, a canned food drive, turkey food, potluck food, a food triathalon, and more food. Convalescent Home
Want to brighten someone else's day? Well, MASA is doing just that on Sunday at the Torrey Pines Convalescent Home! This is a great opportunity for MASA to give back to the community what it has given us. We will be spending quality time with the residents in the nursing home, and we will also be giving them the Thanksgiving cards we made during our Thanksgiving potluck.

Sidekick Event!
Sidekicks of MASA, unite! Come and hang out with your little/big next Monday at UTC! You get to spend quality time and spend more quality time with that pesky little of yours, or that bossy big (just kidding! =]). We'll have activities for you (it's a surprise), and after that you can go shopping/hanging out at UTC =]
There are several free buses that get to UTC. Just flash your ID card and you can get on! In order to get to UTC, the buses 30, 101 and 150 are available on Gilman/Myers. For buses 30 and 150, take the northbound route (stand on the side closer to Sixth College). For bus 101, take the southbound route (stand on the far side of campus, away from Sixth).
